Development and quality checks

We publish a tool only when its purpose, examples, and limitations can be explained. Changes are checked with linting, TypeScript type checks, unit tests, Japanese and English desktop and mobile end-to-end tests, and a production build. Privacy and browser compatibility checks are added when relevant.

Testing cannot guarantee that every defect has been eliminated. Verify results independently before using them for an important purpose.

Local processing and privacy

Unless a tool page says otherwise, tool inputs and generated results are processed in your browser and are not stored on our server. Analytics is used only after consent. Our implementation and tests are designed to keep inputs, passwords, file names, and image data out of analytics and error reports.

Corrections and inquiries

When an error in our documentation, a defect, or a browser compatibility problem is reported, we review the reproduction steps and current implementation. Confirmed corrections are made with updated tests, and material user-facing changes are recorded in our release notes.

Please include the tool, browser and device, steps, and displayed error. Do not send passwords, private text, images, or other confidential information.
